Microfrontends
Trial
The µfrontend architecture extends the microservices concept to the frontend allowing a large and complex application to be broken down into smaller, independent frontend applications. This architecture has also the advantage of pairing well with Domain Driven Design.
The host application will be responsible for orchestrating the µfrontends and providing them a way to communicate. A µfrontend should operate like a standalone application with its own tech stack, development team and independent deployment and maintanance. Sometimes µfrontends are confused with components, but they are not.
