QAInit
We are phasing out QAInit as a tool to launch ephemeral QA environments.
Using a QA environment for development is generally considered a bad idea because it can lead to several issues.
Firstly, the QA environment may not be an exact replica of the production environment, which can result in different behavior and bugs being missed. This can lead to issues in deployment and cause delays in the release of the product.
Secondly, using a QA environment can lead to complacency in testing, as developers may assume that all issues will be caught in the QA environment and not conduct thorough testing on their own.
Overall, while using a QA environment can provide some benefits, it is generally not recommended for development due to the potential issues it can create.
