GraphQL is a great tool for serving frontends, but when it comes to server-to-server is a bad choice.
If the reason for choosing GraphQL is its type system, there are better alternatives (like gRPC or protobuf over http) that can give more guarantees with smaller payloads and backward compatibility checks.
