Hexagonal Architecture (or Ports & Adapters)
Hex architecture is a software design approach that aims to isolate business logic within a well-defined boundary, represented by a hexagon.
This approach offers several benefits, such as decoupling the implementation of business logic from infrastructure or other cross-cutting concerns. Additionally, it simplifies the implementation of automated tests and enables software solutions to achieve a better ratio between coupling and cohesion.
It is important to note that this approach is not a silver bullet and may not be suitable for all scenarios, such as CRUD applications. However, if you are developing software that involves specific business logic, Hex architecture could be a viable option. It can be implemented using any language or technology.
