Next JS
NextJS is a framework based on top of React and maintained by Vercel.
It has become (one of) the most used framework in the React community since it frees the developer from repetitive tasks and provides a ready to use and opinionated architecture for supporting web applications.
NextJS allows really quick prototyping as well as robustness in scaling up the application size. It supports most used patterns and technologies to speed up the application and the Web Vitals metrics like Static Site Generation, Server Side Rendering, PWA support out of the box and more.
Release v13.0.0 supports Server Side Components and Client Side Components, a new concept introduced by React 18.
Next JS's usage general strategy:
We think that Next JS should be used whenever you need to build a static website/webapp with Static Site Generation (SSG) or Server Side Rendering (SSR) which have strong SEO requirements and impact. Also PWAs benefit from the built-in Next JS architecture.
Any Next JS instance should be always coupled with Typescript.
